A Continuation of my Progress: Tarantulas

Hello, my name is Anna!
Ever since I had a class called "Grad Project" where each student researches a topic of their choosing, I chose tarantulas (as you can see) and as I was researching more and more about this topic, I grew more and more interested in it. They were assignments in class and all but to me, they weren't just assignments and now that the class is over, I'm hoping to keep going strong in this interest. I may or may not have more blogs other than this one even and if I do, it might be about another animal that fascinates me like the birds of paradise in New Guinea but I slightly doubt it since I'd be fully invested in this blog.

Here are topics I might discuss in the future:

  • My personal life on tarantulas
    • I don't have a pet tarantula yet but I've been thinking about it for over a year and will get one somewhere in the future
    • Other personal matters that only relate to tarantulas like what a canned tarantula tastes like!

This canned product is from Thailand Unique, the website and can also be bought on Amazon. I heard it tastes like crab and chicken.
  • Evolution on how spiders came to be
    • I haven't talked about it much on here but I can go full in-depth to give a more understanding of their history
    • I will go on about those who haven't made it like the sea scorpions that had developed into the Megarachne (Eurypterids and the Megarachne are all extinct)

  • Media on how tarantulas are being depicted in movies, shows, social media, etc...
    • Analyzing on point of views and compare my own views on why spiders aren't so bad

  • Comparing and analyzing different types of tarantula
    • Describing different personalities, webs, adaption, etc like Northern vs. Southern tarantulas

Tarantulas look different amongst one another and are often thought to be different types of species. I might even compare them to Pokemon from time to time.
  • Full knowledge on tarantulas
    • This can become the "fun facts" page to teach others that are more specific
Be aware the fun facts may or may not be obvious to you depending on if you're an expert in this subject. But overall, I hope you learn something.

  • Other
    • I will definitely make other topics but I'm not sure at this moment what they will be but I am sure the comments on the blog can inspire me to do different subjects

I know blogs aren't a credible source but I assure that I do double check my research before posting information but if some things aren't correct, please do correct me so I won't spread any myth(s). I am inspired and excited to truly start this blog off on a good start!
